Diamond Drill Motor for use with drillstands up to 900mmØ capacity

This advanced motor for core drills offers 7.5kW of power for a weight of only 19.5kg. Its SR (switched reluctance) motor is of steel and copper construction, very simple and robust in design, and with very low-wearing design of parts. The power is controlled by an in-built microcomputer, which allows constant control across the full speed range (six settings for higher working speeds + 3 additional lower speeds for trouble-free start-up). The motor is protected from current overload by thermal protection switches.

The 3 speed gearing of the SR 75 allows smooth and effortless changing between drilling diameters by adjusting speed and torque accordingly. A very high torque of 628Nm is available in first gear.

With these advanced features this machine can work for 300 hours non-stop, until its microprocessor controls indicate that a maintenance check is required. Complete with its aluminium casing and carrying handles, the SR 75 is very robust, thermally stable and so well cooled to IP 55 / EN 60 529 standards that even overhead drilling can be undertaken in complete safety.
