Aero^® Matrix revolutionises Wall and Floor Sawing

The Aero^® Matrix has caused a stir in the UK market. With a completely new style of positioned diamond – a honeycomb effect – the Matrix has surpassed all expectations.

Technical experts point out that, the Matrix / honeycomb effect ensures that diamond is always on the surface of the segment, ensuring a more consistent cut. This is as opposed to old technology, where the diamond is placed in rows – leaving the possibility of areas with less diamond throughout the cut.

The Aero^® Matrix has made its debut in the UK out on site, proving very successful. Operators comments included “very smooth cutting”, and “very easy to keep in a straight line (due to a quality blank)”. The Aero^® Matrix has been trialled directly against the current market leader – coming out comfortably ahead.

Diaquip have introduced some interesting new services, not seen before with positioned diamond. One particularly interesting service is re-tipping blades up to 2200mmØ – regardless of weld type (dependant on the condition of the blank). Further to this, Silent Centre Blades, Loop Cutting Blades and Pre-Cutting Blades are all now available with positioned diamond – from Diaquip.

It would seem that the Aero^® Matrix is not just any old positioned diamond blade – its the best positioned diamond blade on the market.

Hycon short it out

Hycon have made things easier for the operator, by developing shorter, lighter versions of their Cut-Off Saws.

This applies to the HCS14, HCS16 and HCS18 Saws. Hycon Saws are extremely well built, with no belts, virtually eliminating the need to repair and service them. The biggest saw will cut up to 187mm deep with a 450mmØ blade.
